Top-Down cockpit-like perspective Shooter Prototype - MOBILE_PC version

My second Godot prototype: 

2D top-down mobile shooter exploring cockpit perspective combined with time-based precision shooting and collection mechanics.

Platform

  • Playable on mobile and PC

  • Mobile: fully supported

  • PC: works aswell but I have another project that continued with this idea but PC only as it was a lot of work to keep both working, PC version: https://remgem.itch.io/remgem2

  • Note: this version is less far developed than the other project

Controls

  • Move: Bottom-left thumbstick (mobile) or WASD (desktop)

  • Shoot: Bottom-right button (mobile) or mouse click (desktop)

Gameplay

  • Press Connect to start, a timer will count down

  • Press Disconnect to stop the current run
  • Press Music on/off turn the music on/off
  • Shoot memories to regain time

  • Use memories to connect with more spawns, allowing faster collection of additional memories

  • Third and fourth spawns have an experimental axe feature: click on a memory to lunge toward it and collect faster

  • Run ends when 100+ seconds are reached, giving a summary of stats

Known Issues / Feedback

  • On the first hit of memories, the game may freeze for 1–3 seconds

  • After that, gameplay runs smoothly

  • I’m open to feedback! Please report any game-breaking bugs so I can fix them and other players know about them
