2D Top-Down Shooter Prototype – PC Version
My second Godot prototype continued development for PC only:
The PC version of the 2D top-down shooter exploring cockpit perspective, time-based precision shooting, and collection mechanics. Slightly more polished with a different game flow optimized for PC gameplay.
Platform
- Playable on mobile and PC
- Mobile: fully supported
- PC: works aswell but I have another project that continued with this idea but PC only as it was a lot of work to keep both working, PC version:https://remgem.itch.io/remgem
Controls & Modes

Connect: Start a timed run from 00:00, on-rails guidance initially, then shoot memories to maintain and gain time

Practice: Unlimited time to practice shooting and memory patterns

TAB: Toggle stats on/off

Music controls: Connect/Disconnect / On/Off
Gameplay

Shoot memories to extend time

Purple memories display patterns (2–4 steps) that must be completed in order
-
After completing a 4-step pattern, an axe spawns that can be clicked to launch toward memories and collect them faster

Win the run when 100+ seconds are reached
Known Issues / Feedback

The first shot may freeze the game for 1–3 seconds (likely due to sound generation)

After that, gameplay runs smoothly

Open to feedback! Please report any game-breaking bugs so they can be fixed
